Bake fall inspired dog treats, like these. As always, be aware of any allergies or food sensitivities your pet may have before feeding them a new food.

Explore new areas with your pet
.
Looking for adventures and going on new hiking trails can be a great bonding experience for you and your pet. Just make sure the trails are pet friendly, and there are no direct hazards.

Beware of Ticks.

Make sure your pet is tick-free this fall. Check for ticks frequently and speak with your vet about tick preventatives, as certain species of ticks are most active in the fall and winter. Check out our blog about looking for ticks and how to remove them!

Facilitate proper greetings with pets.
When enjoying outdoor activities with your dog, make sure they do well with on leash greetings. Never leave your pet off the leash. This could lead to unfriendly encounters with other dogs. Practice safe greetings in dog parks, or your neighborhood before hitting the trails.
